Statement of Solidarity with Immigrant Communities
We, the Immigrant Justice in Action Coalition (IJAC) were built by our communities, and we exist to serve them.
We stand with every immigrant family living under the threat of separation, death, detention, and ostracization.
We stand with undocumented students in and outside of classrooms.
We stand against the criminalization of migration around the world.
We stand with workers, especially those whose labor is exploited precisely because their status is used as a weapon against them.
We stand with mixed-status families, who carry the daily weight of uncertainty, and who deserve systems that see them whole rather than sorting them into "legal" and "illegal."
We stand in solidarity with all communities facing state violence, surveillance, and dehumanization.
