Background

The University of California (UC) Board of Regents will meet on May 5-6, 2026 at the Luskin Conference Center at UCLA in Los Angeles, California.

These meetings take place amidst Donald Trump and the Republicans’ continued onslaught of anti-immigrant attacks and policies. Despite this, California’s public university systems, especially the UC and CSU, have largely failed in delivering the resources, safety, and policies undocumented students need most at this critical moment.

In the face of this grim reality, undocumented students at the UC, CSU and CCC have been relentlessly organizing in support of one another. The following guide, prepared by the Immigrant Justice in Action Coalition and campus-based undocumented student organizations, provides various templates for you to stand in solidarity with undocumented students in California’s three public higher education systems. Now more than ever, it is critical we mobilize on every front to defend our communities. Share this guide with your networks today: XXXXX.
